x @ingikristjan // {‘Nowhere’.to.go.)} The collaboration between two designers/artists from Reykjavik, Iceland. They came together online to create an editorial of cyber beauty for the digital space of Cyber Fashion Week.

Inspired by the COVID-19 lockdown around the world, the project is an embodiment of the glitch that happens when beauty is displaced and confined.

Their goal was to test the limits of how much fantasy can be made in this abnormal situation where constructing clothes and sourcing materials is limited, as well as photoshoots having to be home produced. Upcycling old shirts as textiles, @andriunnarson created the look in his kitchen and took the photos within various facilities inside his building. The photos were then reworked by @ingikristjan for digital artwork and graphics.
